Class of 2023 Scoring Leaders


April 9-10, 2022 Carolina girls Hoops report held the spring kickoff tournament in Mooresville, NC - 18 teams competed in the 17U to 14U age groups. I will be focusing on the class of 2023 Top Scorers from this weekend's play.


  • 1. - 25.0 PPG - 2 Games Played - Tysonia Lowe - Carolina Hoopers 

  • 2. - 19.5 PPG - 2 Games Played - Dearia Page - EA Lady Stars 

  • 3. - 15.6 PPG - 3 Games Played - Maya Robinson - Carolina All Stars 

  • 4. - 15.5 PPG - 2 Games Played - Staci Williams - ABC Lightning

  • 5 - 14.5 PPG - 2 Games Played - Kairah Dixon-Booker - EA Lady Stars 

  • 6 - 12.5 PPG - 4 Games Played - Kennette Bess - NC Gems 

  • 7 - 11.0 PPG - 4 Games Played - Madison Cole - NC Gems


Tysonia Lowe - 5’8” - Guard - Carolina Hoopers 2023 (SC) - Got hot in the 1st game with a 38 pt performance, Tysonia is a combo guard that can really shoot the ball from distance. Great frame and skills, a player that will have a big summer.


Dearia Page - 5’6” - Guard - EA Lady Stars 17U (NC) - Outstanding 2 way player that has really developed a strong offensive game, high motor player that is a perimeter defender. Continued aggressive offensive play will do well in front of the college coaches.


Maya Robinson - 5’10” - Guard - Carolina All Stars 17U (NC) - Skilled offensive player that can attack off the dribble or shoot from distance, adds to the stat sheet with rebounds assists and steals. Holds a few division 1 offers and will add this summer.


Staci Williams - 5’9” - Guard - ABC Lightning 17U (NC) - High motor combo guard that can really score the basketball in a variety of ways, strong shot form and range to beyond the 3-Pt line. Big summer ahead in front of the college coaches.


Kairah Dixon-Booker - 5’10” - Forward - EA Lady Stars 17U (NC) - Versatile player that can score it at all 3 levels, improved ball handling and vision makes her a threat to attack to pass as well as finish at the rim.  High motor and athleticism will catch the coaches eye this summer.


Kennette Bess - 5’6” - Guard - NC Gems 17U (NC) - Skilled Guard that can play on the ball or off as a  scorer, loves to attack the rim to finish or drop off some dimes. Competitive 2 way player that can create offense from her play on the other side.


Madison Cole - 5’10” - Guard - NC Gems 17U (NC) - Outstanding 2 way player that has increased the efficiency on her jumpshot, one of the toughest defensive players in her class. Madison is a slasher on the offensive side and can finish in traffic.
